S.R. Snodgrass, P.C. Promotes Two Senior-Level Employees

Veterans Zanardelli and Brooks Promoted at Accounting and Consulting Firm

WEXFORD, PENNSYLVANIA, JANUARY 13, 2015 – S.R. Snodgrass, P.C., one of the top 500

accounting and consulting firms in the country, is pleased to announce the promotion of two senior- level veterans. Stephen W. Zanardelli, CPA, CFSA, CIDA, has been promoted from Vice President to Senior Vice President and Shareholder, and John L. Brooks, Ed.D., CPA, has been named Vice President.

Stephen W. Zanardelli brings more than 14 years of experience working with financial service institutions where he has been responsible for all aspects of internal audit engagements. Stephen earned a bachelor of science degree in economics and a professional certification in accounting from the University of Pittsburgh. He is a member of the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and the Institute of Internal Auditors.

John L. Brooks has over 30 years of management and consulting experience. Over the course of his career, in addition to providing consulting services at Snodgrass, John has held the positions of CEO, CFO, Chief Accounting Officer, and Chief Auditor at financial institutions ranging in size from small community banks to multibillion-dollar bank holding companies. He provides Snodgrass clients with expertise in enterprise risk management, strategic planning, interest rate risk management, and process improvement and is instrumental in our training program for audit staff specializing in mortgage banking, derivatives, and hedging. John also spent five years as an Assistant Professor of Accounting at a well-known college. He earned a master of business administration from Waynesburg University and a doctorate (Ed.D.) in administration and leadership from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. He is a member of both the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
